TEDxCoventGardenWomen is an independently organised event in London devoted to ideas worth spreading. We exist to spread ideas that change hearts, minds and lives for the better.
Taking our lead from global TED, we co-create an inclusive, accessible space and provide a high-spec, beautiful platform for people to spread ideas, share stories and address issues of gender and identity.
We draw on the experiences of an international network of speakers in order to celebrate the transformative power of women, girls and anyone who shines a light on different realities. We support our speakers and our audience to tell compelling stories of race and gender, business and technology, entertainment and design in order to inspire, provoke, change perspectives and challenge injustice.
Application for 2016 speakers and performers is now closed. Thank you to all who have submitted their details. We will announce details about the event soon.
In 2013 we launched our very first event, Unlabelled – challenging the restrictive words that promote intolerance and keep us from living more fulfilling lives. Bringing together speakers from around the world, we combined art and activism, poetry, passion and business to create an event that included voices such as Laura Bates, Leyla Hussein, and Natasha Walter.
Take a look below to see some of our favourite snaps from our 2013/2015 events, or watch our talks on YouTube.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday 29 October.
Tickets are not yet available to purchase. However, you can sign up to our newsletter to keep informed on ticket release dates.

Passionate about gender equality, feminism, and the transformative power of women and girls? Want to help raise the volume of our speakers and create a memorable platform for ideas worth sharing?Every year, we get together to share our spare time to create TEDxCoventGardenWomen – an event that brings together an international lineup of speakers with a London audience who want to spark real change.
At TEDxCoventGardenWomen we want to partner with companies who believe in spreading ideas that
change the world. As TEDx events are non-profit events organised by unpaid volunteers, any sponsorship goes
